Quite simply, one of the popular, and reliable choices at the moment, is Microsoft's Security Essentials. This program is complete free of charge, provided you have a genuine copy of a Windows Operting System. It is not compatible with Server Operating Systems though.
An alternative, is AVG's Free Internet Security.
Just because you can pay £30 a year for Norton Internet Security or other similar products, does it mean the free ones are useless? No - Not at all!.
